Currently, a graduate student specializing in Computer Engineering. Having graduated with a B.S. in Computer Engineering with a minor in Computer Science at Rutgers New Brunswick, The State University of New Jersey in the School of Engineering, I am continuing my academic journey with Rutgers Graduate School to pursue my Masters in Computer Engineering. My graduation date is set for Fall 2024.
My passion lies in gaining knowledge in the software design and hardware development of computer systems, and I see ample opportunities in this field to advance my professional career.
Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI) have captured my interest in particular, and I envision my path exploring how Machine Learning can be implemented and advanced in Virtual Reality (VR) technologies. Moreover, I would like to delve deeper into hardware security, as well as ML attacks/defenses.
My management and leadership skills are demonstrated through my current position as a Head Lab Supervisor at The Rutgers Office of Information and Technology. Within the department, my position also extends to working with the Help Desk as a Level 2 Consultant and Applications Support Consultant, where I monitor Hill Center's Data Center. In addition, I am a licensed Pharmacy Technician and possess exceptional customer service skills and teamwork expertise.
In the Summer of 2022, I served as a student counselor, leading The Academy at Rutgers for Girls in Engineering and Technology (TARGET). The program aims to increase awareness and introduce students to career opportunities in engineering.
Upcoming Research Project: WINLAB; Utilize Machine Learning techniques to attack & defend Voice Assistant Systems (e.g. Alexa, Google Home) for smart manufacturing environments. Research lead by Yingying Chen, Department Chair & and Professor within the Electrical & Computer Engineering.
